How to File A Report Grievance
Sometimes the news submissions and other forms of content on the Zathyus News Broadcast violate your rights as a Zathyus Network member, and active reader and/or subject of the Zathyus News Broadcast's reports. Filing a grievance against a report now gives you the chance to take action against a news submission by getting the news story removed, closed, or redone.
Guidelines & Information:
- Grievances can only be filed within 48 hours after the report or content submission has been posted. Only special circumstances will expand the allotted 48 hours.
- User submitted content can be filed for a grievance as well.
- You must build your grievance report using the Code of Ethics. The news submission will only be pulled, closed, or redone if you can prove that the submission violated an ethical code stated within the Code of Ethics.
- You can file a grievance against a news submission by clicking the report button below the news submission. Grievances only apply to content on the Zathyus News Broadcast, feel free to report any replies, personal messages, or topics using regular practices.
.
- Explain your problem with the content throughly in the "Reason for the Report area". Copy and paste the ethical code(s) violated, whether you want the submission closed, trashed, or re-done, and any other potential problems or comments you may have.
It is challenging to have a report trashed, closed, or re-done if the news report has passed through the Zathyus News Broadcast's levels of in-depth investigation and checking - which means that the better you build your grievance by accurately citing ethical violations, the better chance you have in having a report removed.
