Alot of questions have been raised over the past few days, and I'm willing to answer any questions dished out - as long as they're asked as legitimate questions, and not disrespectful or demeaning comments. While many of the questions are obviously going to be about the 7Lounge situation, feel free to ask anything else. Spam, flamming, or anything against the ZB TOS rules will result in a closed topic. I'm doing this for the members, so they can know what REALLY happened - anything that prevents me from doing so will end the Q&A. State whether or not your question is for me, Scotty or both of us. |

I loved videogames for a long while, and got banned off the Gamespot forums - so I started up my own gaming forum on Forumer.com - called the Videogame Network, as you know - that eventually moved to InvisionFree a year later. It later upgraded to ZB and got its name changed to the Zetaboards Gaming Network. |

I obtained the password through the PM logs and let Lewis have the account details just so he could be nosy around the 7L offline forum. Later Lewis came up with the idea to crack 7Lounge, and I essentially laughed it off and said 'sure'. Knowing Lewis, I didn't think he would have the gumption to actually request a forum to be cracked. He was just caught in the heat of the moment, and I was just being a poor administrator who put his joke - for lack of a better term - ahead of his actual responsibilities. I never wanted 7L cracked though. Like what Scotty and I said yesterday, ZNB V1 was cracked - I wouldnt want to do that to anyone else. |

To crack forums of course. Kidding....but I said that, so I could respond to this: Corpora wants to know why I'm mad at him? Well here, take this for example. This is complete BS - have you forgot that ZNB V1 was only open for 3 weeks? Felon had obligations to MER, and we were the last people on his mind? Aaron and I were never in cahoots with Felon to crack forums, NEVER - and it baffles me on why people believe the BS you spew. Anyways, my idea was to take the idea of the original IFNN and make it better. If you think the ZNB had problems, travel back four years to the IFNN...I think then people would appreciate our effort alot more. |

PM Logs. Alot of the time we have to make sure people arent advertising through them - other times, I'm not going to lie - they're a good read when youre bored. This was the only time they were abused though. Anyways, leave any remaining questions - I'll answer them when I get back. |

Do you think it's fair to use the PM logs? I mean, they are called personal messengers for a reason.. Personal. Reading our personal messages is indeed invading our own privacy which I find wrong. I understand that you don't want people to use the PM system to advertise, but hey.. it's a risk we admins must take in order to ensure the privacy of our members. And then to top it off you give out a password that causes a forum to get cracked. I have alot of respect for you Lenny, but I am disappointed because I have been a victim of a cracking and so have you. Either way, I'm glad it has all been revealed and it is now in the past.

Agreed with what JC said- they're private/personal messages (whatever you want the P to stand for haha). If people are advertising, surely they can report it to a mod hm? |

To elaborate on the question above further, is your forum so desperate for a story that it indeed goes as low as the incident with Lewis just to get a new tale, and then lie about it? And why hasn't the ENTIRE truth been told, being as you are all hiding something and refuse to tell the public? |

I think it is fair. Personal is on a personal account, this is a public forum. While each account is able to have security and privacy - if you use the airwaves, persay - youre on your own and anything is fair game. Now, abuse of PM logs is wrong. Thanks for understanding, I'm disappointed in myself too - but hey, what's done is done. At least nothing bad happened to everyone involved. |

Like I said - I read PM logs to see if anyone is PM advertising, or just because I have nothing else better to do at work. I know Cedric had an upcoming forum and wanted to make sure he wasn't doing anything against the rules as in: 'Hey, check this forum out. ;) ' I did it for your topic as well since IFA is returning. I also read your PM, and ask if you lay off a bit. |
