This thread gives you the chance to ask any questions you have regarding nominating, voting, requirements and anything in between. Try to keep all of your questions about the awards within this thread so we can answer your questions quicker, and so that the rest of the forum isn't cluttered. Please note that the award's officially don't start until October 15th when you will be free to sign up.

We are giving people to the 1st of the November to sign up so board owners can talk it over with their board's members, staff and fellow admins. November 1st is when sign ups are closed and the next two weeks is for us to sort the sign up boards into their prospective categories, make up the topics you will post in when you vote. Feel free to go into the archive for last year's awards as it will be run and be similar to the past year's awards as far as how it's run and such.

Miscellaneous is referring to a board that doesn't fit any of the other best * insert genre here* board contests. as for your second question, you can submit as many boards as you like assuming they follow all the guidelines listed in this forum.
