Best Board 09 Round #1: Groups Revealed

Questions \| Categories Best Board '09 Round #1: Groups Revealed! For those of you who never paid attention to the sign-up thread we told you about our exciting new addition to this years awards! Every forum that signed up to the awards (except closed or up-coming forums) were automatically entered into the 'Best Overall Board' category, to battle it out with other forums and perhaps be crowned the Best Board of 2009! Below is a short explanation on how ROUND #1 will work and how you may progress. *Note: This only applies for Round #1, and part of #2 - different diagrams will be posted as the competition progresses* Each forum was given a unique number in the sorting process, and we used a random number generator to sort each forum into it's group. We will be using this system throughout the entire 'Best Board' battles. There is absolutely no fixed group, and each category was selected randomly. All the forums competing for the title of 'Best Overall Board of 2009' (Note that there were a total of 46 entries but 10 were void for this category as they were either closed, deleted or did not meet our TOS). A new forum will be opened specifically for this round on the night of the 8th of November, and a different thread for each group (A-F) meaning you can vote for a forum in every group (Rules regarding the voting process will be posted up when the voting begins for this round). Deleted User	Snyroth November 5, 2009, 11:23 pm So what exactly do we do?? I don't get this one? For right now, you aren't going to be doing anything. THis topic just shows you how the best board of 2009 is going to be done. Later on, is when topics where the voting for the first round begins and that's when voting will start up which should be the 15th of November.

November 8, 2009, 3:50 am Im opening sometime this month why can't I be on here :/ It said in the rules that your forum must be open for the whole duration of the contest, and closed boards can only qualify for 'Best Dead Forum' and 'Best In-Upcoming Forum' categories. Voting starts tonight and you can't really vote a closed forum for the Best Board category.
